KARACHI: All Pakistan Muslim League chief General (r) Pervez Musharraf announced on Sunday that he would come back by the end of the current month.
Addressing a public gathering at the Jinnah ground via video, he said that despite all the threats, he would come to Pakistan between January 27 and 30 and would face all the ‘false allegations’ in the court.
He also announced that he would contest the general election from Chitral and would win the seat.
He said that some political powers had joined hands with extremists and were jointly hatching conspiracies against him.
Musharraf said that these elements are the core hurdle in the country’s progress and were busy in propagating against him in Balochistan. He further said that these powers were attempting to hatch conspiracies over the demise of Akbar Bugti. He said those called him enemy of the Baloch, wanted to keep Balochistan people illiterate and deprive them of facilities so as to maintain their rule. He said that he would serve the Baloch with heart and soul, however, he was the enemy of those who torch Pakistani flags and killed Hazaras.
Comparing his tenure with present times, he said that he managed to boost country’s economy, had broken the bowl, said goodbye to International Monitory Fund (IMF) and other international organisations.
Now the country once again has been caught in the hands of IMF and at the ongoing intensive times, institutions were busy in dragging one another.
He said that he possessed the trust of people of all races and communities, adding that Bangali people dwelling in Pakistan were also Pakistanis as other sons of the soil.
