Chaos at music concert kills three girls in Lahore

LAHORE: Three girls were killed and at least 10 others injured on Monday after a stampede broke out following a music concert at Al-Hamra Cultural Complex.
The dead and injured were shifted to Services Hospital.
According to a witness the chaos started after security guards closed the doors for no apparent reason at the end of the concert. He added that security guards then baton charged the crowds as they were trying to come out of the building.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, two of the dead girls have been identified as Maheen Nasim and Farah Nawaz while the third is yet to be identified. The injured include Safeera, Wajeeha, Nimra Muneer, Zoya Iqtidar and Muniba Anwar.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered a probe into the incident. online
