Jamshed Dasti resigns from PPP
LAHORE: Jamshed Dasti has resigned from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and would also give up his National Assembly membership on Wednesday, Geo News reported.Dasti said the main reason for leaving the party was the appointment of corrupt officials in his constituency.
Dasti added that he would take part in the next elections as an independent candidate from the constituency of Hina Rabbani Khar, that is Muzaffargarh.
His resignation has been submitted to the party leadership while he would also be vacating his National Assembly seat.
