Senate elections on March 2: ECP
ISLAMABD: Senate elections would be held on March 2, 2012, according to the schedule announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday.According to the announcement of Election Commission of Pakistan, the nomination papers of the candidates will be accepted on February 13 and 14.
The withdrawal of papers will be carried out until February 24 while the final list of candidates will also be displayed on the same date.
The ECP said that 50 members of Senate will retire on March 12.
