Who will be Pagara’s legatee?KARACHI: The selection of new ‘Pir’ (spiritual leader) of the Hur Jamaat is a well-conceived process and evidently, Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi will be the successor to deceased Pir Syed Mardan Shah II alias Pir Pagara, it was learnt here on Wednesday. A source in the ‘Hur Jamaat’ told Daily Times that there is a ‘Dargah Committee’, which comprises of 14 ‘Dargah Chokis’ with ‘Khalifas’ as their heads, adding “One of the 14 Khalifas is the Chief Khalifa, a position currently held by Faqir Qadir Bux Mangrio”. staff report
