Government has no plans of sacking COAS Kayani: AG
ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Maulvi Anwar ul Haq has informed the Supreme Court that the government had no plans of sacking Army chief Kayani.
The apex court has hearing a plea asking the court to restrain the prime minister from taking any action against the Chief of Army Staff.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry has sought a written reply from the government and directed the Attorney General to submit it within two weeks.
