Mansoor Ijaz once again refuses to come to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The US businessman at the centre of the memo scandal, Mansoor Ijaz has once again refused to come to Pakistan.
Ijaz’s lawyer Akram Sheikh informed the judicial commission that there was a trust deficit between Mansoor Ijaz and Interior Minister Rehman Malik and presented the email sent by his client to the commission.
Shekih informed the commission that Ijaz’s security should be given to an organisation that does not fall under the jurisdiction of Rehman Malik.
The commission has asked Sheikh to consult with Mansoor Ijaz and ask him when he can come to Pakistan.
Justice Qazi Faiz Esa the head of the commission said that Ijaz would be given one last opportunity to come to Pakistan.
