ANP won’t support any unconstitutional act: Asfandyar
PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) president Asfandyar Wali Khan said the ANP would not support any unconstitutional act.Asfandyar further said that Parliament was the foundation for all institutions adding that it was not mentioned in the constitution that no institution would interfere in the affairs of another.
Addressing party workers on the death anniversary of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Abdul Wali Khan, Asfandyar Wali demanded to name Peshawar Airport after Bacha Khan.
"Bacha Khan wanted to see Pakhtoons as educated" Asfandyar said.
Earlier, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said their elders rendered great sacrifices for independence.
