Statement of Dr Asim about POL price hike illegal: Chandio
ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Maula Bux Chandio declared illegal the statement of Petroleum Minister Dr Asim about proposed hike in the prices of petroleum products, saying it would benefit hoarders, Geo News reported.Talking to media outside parliament house, the law minister said Dr Asim should not have made announcement much earlier. He said he could not endorse the statement of the petroleum minister about increase in POL prices.
It may be noted here that Dr Asim had announced about hike in POL prices Friday.
The Law Minister further said that joint session of the parliament is expected in the first week of February.
He added that accountability bill would soon be brought in the parliament soon.
