Nawaz Sharif summons PML-N leaders' meeting
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N President has summoned an important consultative meeting of his party to be held within the next 48 hours, Geo News reported on Sunday.The meeting's agenda is to make important decisions with regard to the proposed 20th amendment of the Constitution and the ongoing memo case, PML-N sources told Geo News correspondent.
The sources said consultation will also be held on the situation after contacts with the opposition, the party's willingness or otherwise to participate in the joint sitting of the Parliament and details of energy conference scheduled to be held on February 20.
Meanwhile, PML-N leaders including Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif called on Nawaz Sharif after his return home from abroad.
The meetings had an exchange of views on current political situation of the country besides the deaths caused by consumption of substandard medicines provided by Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
