EC changes 3 provincial Election Commissioners
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday made changes in three provincial election commissions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh, Geo News reported.
According to a statement issued here on Friday, KPK Election commissioner Tariq Qadri has been replaced by Sonu Khan Baloch. It said that Mr Qadri has been transferred to Punjab.
The statement noted that Mehboob Anwar has been posted as Sindh Election Commissioner.
The ECP has slapped a ban on ads carrying pictures of political leaders on TV channels and newspapers. It also warned of action over violation of its directives.
