MQM thanks SC for discharging contempt notice
ISLAMABAD: As the MQM got the contempt notice against its chief Altaf Hussain discharged, its deputy convener Dr Farooq Sattar told media that Mr Hussain’s ‘political drone attack’ would also be pleasant surprise for the people, Geo News reported.
He said that it has been MQM’s tradition to give pleasant surprises. He told media outside the Supreme Court that the MQM believed in rule of law and respect for the judiciary.
He also thanked the court and judges for accepting apology and discharging contempt case against the MQM chief.
