Info minister says Qadri misguiding nation
KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Deputy Information Secretary and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Tahir-ul-Qadri was trying to misguide the nation but his plans would not materialise. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said the people could not be made fool by fake slogans and the government also could not be blackmailed. “Certain people having undemocratic approach were trying to derail the democracy. Tahir-ul-Qadri should look inside him before criticising PPP. The people know them very well. He supported General Pervez Musharraf and opposed democratic system,” Sharjeel alleged. The minister said Tahir-ul-Qadri would never succeed in his motives. “Pakistan needs unity and democracy but not any revolution.” app
