MQM to participate in long march despite being in government
LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi has said that 14th January will be a great day for Pakistan when people will participate in the long march in huge numbers and MQM will be taking part in he event despite being a government ally.
Talking to media in Lahore after his meeting with the Tehreek minhaj ul Quran (TMQ) leaders, Haider Abbas Rizvi said that a large number of people would come from Karachi for the long march. He also said that quite a few groups are uneasy about the long march and it has started to show. He was of the view that Tahir ul Qadri wants to resolve matters through dialogue.
Containers have been placed to block roads and 25000 policemen have been deployed in Islamabad.
