News114 political parties didn’t hold party elections: EC
ISLAMABAD: Out of 216 registered political parties, 114 parties failed to hold their party elections, according to the list issued by Election Commission of Pakistan.
The list included Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid e Azam (PML-Q), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) and Muttahida Majlis e Amal (MMA) for not holding party elections.
Election Commission said that PPP had held its last party elections in 2006.
