Pakistani soldier killed in Indian firing at Tatta Pani sector
KOTLI: Indian forces fired at Pakistan’s position in Tatta Pani sector on the Line of Control (LoC), killing a Pakistani soldier, ISPR said.
According to an ISPR statement, one Pakistani soldier, Havildar Mohyuddin, was killed as a result of India shelling. The ISPR adds the army is currently engaged in retaliatory fire.
This is the third time India has violated the ceasefire at the LoC during the last week. Pakistan had earlier offered India that it was willing to have an inquiry conducted by the UN over the incidents.
On January 6, Indian troops violated the LoC at Bagh area and crossed over to the Hajipir sector. Indian troops attacked a security checkpost. Two Pakistani soldiers were injured in the attack, one of whom succumbed to his wounds.
