US wants free and fair elections in Pak: OlsonISLAMABAD: US Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson said United States only supports democracy in Pakistan and not a specific political party or person, including Minhajul Quran Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
During a press briefing, Olson further added that the US would like to see free and fair elections in Pakistan.
Commenting on the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, Olson said the two countries need to work together for peace in the region and the ceasefire agreement along the line of control is encouraging.
