NA to decide on Bahwalpur province: Mehmood
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood said on Saturday that the decision regarding restoration of Bahawalpur province would be taken in National Assembly's (NA) next session. Rahimyar Khan, DG Khan and Multan will be the part of new province.
Addressing a press conference at his residence following the Bahawalpur restoration core committee meeting, Ahmed Mehmood said the lingering demand of people would be fulfilled when the province would be restored and complaints about looting rights of Bahawalpur by Punjab would end.
An important announcement would be made during public rally in Rahimyar khan where Nawab of Bahawalpur and other stakeholders would also participate, Mehmood added.
