Defense ties with Pakistan vital for regional peace: Olson

ISLAMABAD: US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson said on Monday that defence ties with Pakistan are vital for peace and stability in the region.

According to official statement issued from US Embassy here, Richard Olson met Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique. On the occasion, Olson visited Shahbaz Airbase and reviewed Pakistan's F-16 jets programme.
