PPP trying hard to make Southern Punjab province: Riaz
LAHORE: The Opposition Leader in Punjab assembly, Raja Riaz Ahmed, said on Monday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is trying its best to form Southern Punjab province, claiming that Sharif brothers are escaping from resolution of new province alike they sneaked out to Jeddah.
Talking to mediamen outside Punjab assembly, Raja Riaz said commission is working to sort out the boundaries and name of the province and they would continue their efforts for new province formation.
Nawaz Sharif is now frightened of Tahir ul Qadri after Imran Khan, Riaz added.
He said that sending long march from Punjab to Islamabad was the plan of Punjab government to make federal government failed but wisdom of President Zardari played a vital role to solve the issues.
