Civil society demo against target killings
KARACHI: Civil society activists staged a protest demo in Defense Housing Authority (DHA) here on Sunday to condemn incidents of targeted killings and to promote rule of law in the society.
A large number of citizens including women, children, students, teachers, artists, lawyers and social workers participated in the demonstration and walk. They carried banners and placards inscribed with the slogans against targeted killings and lawlessness.
The protestors also displayed portraits of slain youth of Karachi, Shahzeb Khan and demanded justice to the bereaved family. (PPI)
