LHC accepts plea against dual national army men, bureaucratsLAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday fixed March 20 for the hearing of a petition against bureaucrats and army officials having dual nationalities. Khalid Mahmood, the petitioner, submitted that both bureaucrats and military men deal with sensitive issues and possess secret information. He added that after retirement, dual national servicemen settle abroad and “there is every apprehension that these people can disclose the sensitive information to the other countries”. He said like parliamentarians, dual national army officials and bureaucrats should also not be allowed to hold any government office. staff report
