Pakistan Rangers hold security moot

KARACHI: A security conference was held at the head quarters of Pakistan Rangers Sindh to review the security arrangements, especially for 12 Rabi-ul-Awal here on Wednesday. The deputy director Rangers, additional inspector general of police Sindh, home secretary, joint director IB, commissioner Karachi, DIGs, representatives of city district government Karachi, CPLC, KESC and officers of Rangers and police participated in the conference. They finalised the security plans and ensured foolproof security during the 12 Rabi-ul-Awal. Temporary pickets would be established and manned round the clock. Snipers would be deployed on rooftops and that the complete route of procession would be sealed. The enhanced snap checking would be carried out and that there
would also be aerial surveillance. app
