Amin Faheem elected PPPP president
KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP), in its intra-party elections, has elected Makhdoom Amin Faheem as party president, whereas Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf was elected general secretary, media report said.
The elections were conducted under the party’s election commission, which is headed by Law Minister Farooq H Naek. Manzoor Watto claimed the Punjab presidency and Tanveer Ashraf was elected as general secretary.
Qaim Ali Shah was elected as the party’s Sindh president, and Taj Haider as the general secretary.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Anwar Saifullah has been elected the provincial president. In Balochistan, Sadiq Umrani was elected provincial president and Baaz Muhammad Khan Khetran general
