PPP Youth Organization protest at Ahmed Mukhtar’s office
ISLAMABAD: Members of the PPP Youth Organization protested both outside and inside the office of Federal Water and Power Minister Chauhdry Ahmed Mukhtar. The protestors were demanding that they be given jobs.
The protest took a chaotic turn when members of the Youth Organization were stopped from entering the office. Upon entry, they started ransacking the office and demanded the presence of Ahmed Mukhtar.
The situation was brought under control when State Minister for Water and Power Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi arrived and told the protestors that they would be offered jobs on merit and their demands would be taken to President Asif Ali Zardari within two days.
