Tauqir Sadiq handed over to Pakistan embassy
ABDU DHABI: Abu Dahbi police have handed over to Pakistan's embassy the former Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) chairman Tauqir Sadiq, accused of causing Rs82 billion loss to the national exchequer, Geo News reported Wednesday.
The Supreme Court on January 10 had ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest Tauqir Sadiq by January 17.
Sadiq was appointed as the OGRA Chairman by former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. NAB chairman had issued warrants for his arrest in April 2012.
