Roots students hold Mehfil-e-Milad
ISLAMABAD: Roots School System DHA1 Flagship campus Islamabad held a glorious Mehfil-e-Milad to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
More than 2,000 women from the twin cities had been invited by Roots System DHA1 Executive Director Khadija Mushtaq to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and thank Allah for His countless blessings during the holy month.
All the participants, along with their teachers and staff members, were collectively attired in beautiful gold and bronze floor length pishwases and multi-coloured duputtas.
Young flower girls from the RSS Montessori section warmly welcomed all the guests by throwing rose petals at the reception.
The Milad began with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by ‘hamd’. Young students of RSS DHA1 campus recited melodious ‘naats’ and took turns to narrate a wide range of Sunnah. pr
