4 MQM men elected to Sindh Assembly

KARACHI: Four candidates of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been elected unopposed on vacant seats of provincial assembly, Sindh. According to notifications issued by the concerned Returning Officers here on Wednesday, four candidates, including Jamal Ahmed, Nadeem Hidayat Hashmi, Muhammad Ali Rashid and Dr Arshad Abdullah Vohra have been elected unopposed respectively to PS-101 (Karachi), PS-103 (Karachi), PS-113 (Karachi) and PS-115 (Karachi). Earlier, the Election Commission had issued schedule for by-elections. Now the polling on the remaining two seats will be held as per schedule on February 18. staff report
