Zardari seeks details of ‘extra-judicial’ murder from Sindh governor

KARACHI – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday telephoned Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and sought details regarding alleged extra-judicial murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) office-bearer Suhail Ahmed.
Ahmed’s dead body was found Wednesday in Mauripur’s Mochko Goth. Karachi was virtually shut down after the MQM’s strike call to protest against the killing earlier today. During his telephonic conversation with Ebad, the PPP co-chairman expressed deep grief on the brutal incident.
