Saudi assistant defence minister calls on COAS

ISLAMABAD: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Assistant Defence Minister for Military Affairs Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Ayish visited General Headquarters on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif. During the meeting, matters related to regional security and bilateral defence collaboration including training exchanges came under discussion. Sources said that Pakistan’s role in 34-Nation Islamic military alliance formed by the Saudi Arabia to fight against terrorism was also discussed in the meeting at General Headquarters of Pakistan Army.
