PPP celebrates Bhutto’s birthday in Multan
Speakers affirm PPP will continue its struggle, follow socio-economic reforms agenda of Bhutto

MULTAN - Three separate cake cutting ceremonies were organised to mark 84th birthday of late founder Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Zulfikar Ali Bhutto here on Tuesday.
A ceremony was organised at residence of PPP's Multan General Secretary M Saleem Raja where dozens of workers participated in the cake cutting activity dedicated to the visionary leader. PPP's Multan President Usman Bhatti, former PM's coordinator Khawaja Rizwan Alam, Malik Altaf Khokar, Dr Javed Saddique, Qaiser Abbas Saddiq, Baigum BA Jigger attended the programme to tribute ZAB.
Another such ceremony was held at district bar Multan office where coordinator People’s Lawyers Forum South (PLF) Punjab cut the cake amongst a number of fellow lawyers. Zawar Qureshi, Aziz Akbar Baig, Habibullah Shakir and others joined the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Multan press club also held a programme in which president PLF of South Punjab, Habibullah Shakir and PPP South Punjab's general secretary Shukat Busra cut the cake amongst a number of workers and journalists.
The participants in all three ceremonies prayed to Almighty for the success of Bhutto’s mission now led by his grandson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari bring progress and prosperity in the country.
Speakers affirmed that PPP will continue its struggle and follow socio-economic reforms agenda of Bhutto. They said PPP was formed as a force against feudalism and capitalism and to give voice to downtrodden segments of society.
