PM meets Sri Lankan president at president house
Regional situation, energy, infrastructure, trade and promotion of bilateral ties came under discussion

COLOMBO - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday held a meeting with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena in the President House and discussed regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

In meeting with Sri Lankan president, Prime Minister Nawaz led a delegation that comprises of Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi, National Security Adviser lieutenant general (retired) Nasir Janjua, Minister for Trade Khurram Dastagir Khan, Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain.

A range of issues including overall regional situation, matters of mutual interest, energy, infrastructure, trade and promotion of bilateral ties in diverse fields came under discussion.

Earlier, Nawaz reached the President House where he was received by President Maithripala. Nawaz was given gun-salute on his arrival.
