President reaffirms support to Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday assured Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri that the federal government would continue assisting the provincial government for the progress and prosperity of the people of his province.

The chief minister called on Mamnoon at the Presidency. The president felicitated Sardar Sanaullah Zehri on assuming the office of Balochistan chief minister and expressed the hope that during his tenure Balochistan would progress further. It was the first meeting of Sardar Sanaullah Zehri with the president after assuming office, said a press release. He apprised the president about the latest situation and the ongoing development schemes in the province. President Mamnoon told the chief minister that the welfare and security of the people of Balochistan should be accorded the highest priority, and all possible measures be taken for restoring law and order and ushering prosperity in the province.
