Ashraf Ghani phones PM Sharif, denounces attack on consulate
ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday telephoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and expressed his concerns over the attack on Pakistani consulate in Jalalabad.
According to details, both the leaders emphasized the need for joint efforts to stamp out terrorism from the region.
It may be noted here that a Pakistani consulate had come under suicide attack in Afghan city of Jalalabad earlier today, killing six people and injuring several others.
Pakistani Foreign Office had also demanded of the Afghan government to provide information regarding investigation into the attack.
