ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Rehman Malik on Friday has said that Indian intelligence agency RAW has succeeded in its designs and Modi government has suffered defeat in Pathankot attack case as the suspects from India rather than Jaish-e-Muhammad are behind this attack.

Talking to journalists outside the Parliament House, ex-interior minister said that Jaish was not involved in attack; it had been carried out by suspects from India. He said that RAW does not want that relations should be improved between Pakistan and India.

He said that whenever Modi government had tried to hold talks, RAW thwarted such moves. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi made serious endeavours to hold talks but these could not be held due to conspiracies from RAW, he said.

He said that Samjhauta Express attack case should be registered. “I will move the International Court of Justice on this count. The culprits behind this attack have not been nabbed so far,” he said.

The PPP’s Senator said that RAW was hatching conspiracies in the matter of dialogue between Pakistan and India as it thinks that if India and Pakistan sit together then Kashmir issue would come under discussion too. He urged the government to allay the reservations being expressed on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
