Prosecution stands strengthened with SCPS bill: Khuhro
KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Nisar Khuhro on Saturday claimed that prosecution has been strengthened through the adoption of Sindh Criminal Prosecution Service (SCPS) bill.
Talking to media persons while attending the golden jubilee program of a private college here, the Senior Minister said copies of the proposed bill had been placed on each member’s desk prior to the start of the Sindh Assembly’s proceedings on Friday.
“All members knew in advance that the bill would be presented,” he said, adding, had the opposition members went the through the bill, they could have proposed some amendments.
He said earlier there was a lack of cooperation between the provincial Law Department and Prosecution.
“The prosecution stands strengthened through the adoption of the bill,” he said.
