Cold wave grips several parts of country
OnlineISLAMABAD: Different parts of the country are in grip of cold wave. The harsh weather has forced the people to remain in-doors. Met Office has forecast of cold and dry weather to persist in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. Cloudy weather conditions are expected in Zhob, Malakand Division, upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan during evening and night. Dense foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab, Peshawar division and upper Sindh during night and morning hours. The minimum temperature was recorded in Skardu -11C followed by Astore -08C, Kalam and Gupis -06C, Parachinar -5C, Quetta, Gilgit, Dir -3C, Rawalakot and Malam Jabba -2 C, Murree, Zhob and Dalbandin -1C.
