Charsadda attack: PM announces day of mourning for Thursday
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday announced a day of mourning for Thursday following the armed attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.
Earlier, the Premier spoke to Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif and reiterated the resolve to continue the fight against terrorism with full vigour.
Twenty people including students, teachers and security guards lost their lives while the same number sustained injuries when armed militants struck Bacha Khan University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Charsadda district.
All four terrorists who had stormed the university were later and the security forces took control of the university.
