Candian parliamentarian visits Charsadda University
CHARSADDA: Salma Saleem Attaullah, the senator of Canadian parliament on Thursday visited the Bacha Khan University to express her solidarity with the students and teachers.
Talking to newsmen and students outside the university, Salma Attaullah said the Canadian government and its people stand by the victims of terrorism in this hour of need.
She said Pakistan has been facing terrorist attacks for the last 12 years but the nation continues to stand up and fight valiantly against the menace of terrorism.
The Canadian parliamentarian is not the only person to have come forward to express solidarity with the victims of Bacha Khan university attack. Many national and international leaders have also decried the deadly attack and condemned the perpetrators of the horrendous crime as inhuman.
At least eighteen students and two staff members embraced martyrdom in an armed attack on Bacha Khan University on Wednesday.
