Nisar Khuhro apologizes for smoking in SA
By ONLINEKARACHI: Nisar Khuhro, senior Sindh Minister has apologized for smoking in the Provincial Assembly.
Khuhro extended apology to the members Friday, saying that he smoked unintentionally after the session concluded.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani said, ‘I have left smoking three months ago and smoking in the assembly is immoral.”
Sindh’s Senior Minister on Tuesday openly violated the Sindh Assembly rules by smoking a cigarette and desecrated the sanctity of the house.
TV footage showed Nisar Khuhro lighting a cigarette and smoking it casually while he was surrounded by male and female members of the assembly.
