Gas loadshedding adds to hardship of Punjab people in winter
LAHORE: As the winter season draws to its peak, residents of a number of Punjab cities including Rawalpindi and Lahore suffer from gas loadshedding.
With gas stoves no more of use without gas supply, the people have resorted to relying on makeshift stoves and bonfires.
Women in Multan came out on streets to register their protest against the non-supply of gas. They brought along their gas stoves and used wood sticks to light fire in them. Some protesters, using these stoves, made tea and enjoyed it on the streets.
The demonstrators complained that even in a situation when they are not receiving gas, they are sure they would receive bills at then end of the month.
