PM Nawaz Sharif never struck secret deals: Abid Sher Ali

FAISALABAD: Minister of State, Abid Sher Ali on Saturday said neither did Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ever strike a ‘Muk Mukka’ (a secret give-and-take) nor is he in the habit of such practices.

Talking to media persons after undertaking a visit to Faisalabad dry port, Abid Sher Ali said soon peace will be established in Karachi, adding, anyone who has committed a crime will have to face punishment.

He said it is the opposition’s right to criticize and that a battle of words between the government and opposition is a thing of routine.

Abid Sher Ali said the Karachi operation is for the restoration of law and order and that it will continue till the last terrorist is eliminated.

He said the Prime Minister is trying to resolve the country’s issues by taking all the political parties onboard. “Rooting out terrorism is the foremost priority of the incumbent government,” he added.
