Our ‘setting’ is only with our mission: DG Rangers
KARACHI: Director General (DG) Sindh Rangers, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar Sunday said the mission of the paramilitary force is to improve law and order situation in Karachi and upper parts of Sindh province.
Addressing an award distribution ceremony at the conclusion of Hub Rally, the DG Rangers said the number of raids is directly proportional to the number of enemies. “The greater the number of enemies, the more the actions,” he added.
He said the paramilitary force has to face all kinds of criticisms.
He said they would criticize Rangers, if according to them, the operation is going fast. “And if they find the operation getting slow, they would accuse the Rangers of having a ‘setting’,” he regretted.
Maj Gen Bilal Akbar said: “Our setting is only with our mission. Our setting is only with the nation. Our setting is only with our motherland.”
