PM keen on developing Balochistan: Qadir

ISLAMABAD: While speaking with the media in Kharan Press Club, States and Frontier Regions Minister Lt General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is keen on bringing positive changes in Balochistan through developmental projects.
He said that underdeveloped areas of Kharan, Chagai, Washuk and Panjgur would definitely benefit from China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), where different highways from Naag to Soorab, Kharan to Panjgur and Mashkail, Besima to Nokkundi were being contructed to connect all the far flung areas.
The minister said that a 3 billion rupee electricity grid station would be constructed within the Naag tehsil of Washuk District, adding that a 4.10 million rupee dam in Kharan would be constructed which would begin a new era of prosperity and economic growth
