By: PPI
SIALKOT: Water and Power Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said enemies of the state are trying to destabilise the country and create problems in its development.
Addressing a charged crowd at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) Workers Convention in Sialkot, he claimed that the government had succeeded in addressing all of the challenges the country had faced.
The minister also said that electricity load shedding would end by the turn of the year because a number of ongoing energy projects would be completed by then.
The present government has taken a number of bold decisions under the direction of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and has vastly improved the law and order situation on the national scale due to collaborative efforts and sacrifices of the security agencies and political parties.
The minister reiterated the confidence the PM had in the country’s Supreme Court as he had presented himself and his three generations for accountability before the court and the nation.
He also announced development projects in Sialkot, saying that 180 million rupees had been sanctioned for the construction of an engineering university in Sialkot and that construction had begun for the motorway linking Sambrial and Sowala to the main city.
