Imran urges Nawaz to reveal reasons being Qatari prince’s ‘gift’
PTI chief says if the government does this, why are the poor and petty thieves languishing in jails?

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to reveal the reason Qatari prince has ‘gifted’ the flats.Talking to media outside Supreme Court here on Tuesday, he said that the Qatari prince, sending letters to save Nawaz Sharif in Panama Papers case, is the most corrupt person. He said that the Qatari prince is a business partner of Sharif family and the current government awarded LNG and Post Qasim contract to the Qatari.
Imran further said that the Sharif family never disclosed the name of Qatri prince during last seven months.
Responding to a question, he said that if this is what this government wants to do - set laws for themselves - what should we do about all those poor and petty thieves languishing in jails? Why have you put them behind bars?
He said that their crimes are nothing compared to the billions Nawaz has syphoned off and they keep citing that the courts cannot hear this case, did they not hear that Nawaz Sharif had said he was ready to present himself for accountability?
PTI chief said that we have reached a point where the court acknowledges that we are the ones who brought all documentation forward. “This was the work of the institutions but they failed to do so and we are the ones who stepped up to do the job” Imran added.
