ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman has revealed that all the PTI parliamentarians have submitted their resignation to him which will be forwarded at an appropriate time. Talking to the media after the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, he demanded the government to make Raja Zafarul Haq report on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat issue public. Reiterating his demanded for KP-FATA merger, Imran said Fazalur Rehman feared that the credit for the merger would go to the PTI. He warned that the old system in FATA had been wrapped and any delay in reforms could give anti-state elements a change to fill the gap. “Delay in merger is injustice with the people of the tribal belt,” said Imran, adding that extension of superior courts writ to FATA would not serve the purpose without merging the entire system.
Earlier, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman had alleged that the Sharif family was threatening the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Supreme Court, but now people would not accept their dictatorship mindset that they had been practicing for the last three decades. Separately, Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif should face all charges if he was clean. “Shahbaz Sharif’s Ashiana housing scam is tip of iceberg. Much bigger scams will be uncovered once probe by NAB starts on sasti roti, metros, esp orange train where the contract has been kept under wraps, massive kickbacks in Punjab road construction contracts, Danish schools etc,” he tweeted. “Why is SS crying about victimisation already? I faced probe for one year in the SC despite never holding any public office so why is SS attacking NAB?” he said in another tweet.
