PM wants development work in tribal areas to pick up speed

Prime Minister Imran Khan wants quick development of tribal districts and for the purpose, he directed all the provincial ministers to make regular visits to each tribal district in a week so that to facilitate the ignored areas’ tribesmen.

This was told by to Khyber Pakhtunkwa (KP) Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Commerce & Industries Abdul Karim Khan while speaking on the occasion of visit to the Mohmand Marble City in Mohmand on Tuesday.

Abdul Karim Khan was received by Additional Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam and Lower Mohmand Assistant Commissioner Qaiser Khan at Michni Bridge.

The special assistant was briefed by officials on completed, ongoing and upcoming schemes in Mohmand Marble City.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Mohmand chapter workers and local elders submitted their objections on constructed roads towards Marble City.

Addressing on the occasion Abdul Karim Khan said that PM Imran Khan was now taking keen interest in the development of merged areas residents. He lauded the sacrifices rendered by tribesmen in the fight against terrorism.

He said that peace has been restored in the area due to the sacrifices presented by security forces and tribal elders.


He urged the area’s youth to come forward and work for the development of the area.

“We want development of KP’s industrialists and will provide electricity on low prices to strengthen the industry in the province,” he said.

He told that after completion of Mohmand Marble City, the new era of development will be started in the tribal district and the people will find job opportunities.
