Babar for taking all political parties along
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Law Babar Awan Friday said the government intends to take all political parties along and that contact will be maintained with all the political blocs including Jamat-e-Islami.Talking to reporters after his meeting with JI Amir here at Mansoora, Babar Awan stressed on staying united to tackle the menace of terrorism.
He announced that funds will be given to all the bars of the country and not just 5 specific bars, adding, any criticism in this regard is of no use.
The Law Minister ruled out dissolution of assemblies which, he said, enjoy complete protection after the passage of the 18th amendment.
Regarding his meeting with JI Amir Munawar Hassan, he said: “We will go along with JI in pursuance of the politics of reconciliation.”
Amir JI on the occasion said there could be a difference of views and opinions but the political forces must not close doors to talks.
