US releases $120m assistance for Pakistan

 

WASHINGTON: The United States on Friday released $120 million in budgetary support for Pakistan as part of its development assistance for the country for the financial year 2010-2011. The amount, released by the US Agency for International Development, includes $75 million for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and $45 million for higher education, a Pakistan Embassy official confirmed. app
